Job Descriptions

Shift Manager

Hourly employee whose primary function is to assist in the operation and supervision of a theater and its concession employees, and to act as a representative of Funtime Cinemas in a way that is consistent with our mission statement and policies.

Essential Job Functions:

·       Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

·       Supervising concession and operations; while maintaining safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by  following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.

·       Attend meetings

·       Delegate responsibilities as needed

·       Ensure inventory is stocked and consistently replenished.

·       Upholding and administering all theater policies.

·       Processes daily reports. Assures accurate accounting of property funds, including cash drawer, bank deposit, and change, checks, credit cards, and petty cash.

·       Regular and consistent attendance.

·       Training, developing, coaching and supervising of non-management employees.

·       Performing all staff positions as required.

·       Operating all projection and audio-visual equipment within the theatre, both hardware and software, including all applicable film handling (ingesting,playlist, ads scheduling, etc.) and maintenance as required. Working knowledge of all systems within facility in Booth and Projection technology including maintenance, programming, TMS operation and all related projection skills.

·       Monitor janitorial staff to ensure facility is cleaned to standards every day.

The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Experience or training required:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ·       Effective management and leadership skills, with the ability to develop staff and maintain excellent employee relations.

·       Excellent skill set to include verbal/written communication, problem identification and problem solving skills.

·       Perform calculations with speed and accuracy, and identify and correct errors.

·       Perform tasks with a minimal amount of supervision. Perform under pressure and/or opposition.

·       Represent the company in a professional manner.

·       Basic technical aptitude and computer literacy to include the ability to operate point-of-sale software,  MS Word, and MS Excel.

·       Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays and flexibility to meet the theaters’ availability requirements.

·       Ability to pass thorough background check

Concession

Hourly employee whose primary function is to assist in the operation the theater and to act as a representative of Funtime Cinemas in a way that is consistent with our mission statement and policies.

Essential Job Functions:

·       Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

·       Attend meetings

·       Complete transactions by greeting each guest, identifying the guest's request, completing loyalty transactions and thanking the guest

·       Perform daily concession maintenance duties, including daily stocking

·       Enforce ratings to keep underage guests from accessing auditoriums with adult content

·       Greet guests, assemble food orders, operate point-of-sale terminals and make accurate change

·       Monitor auditoriums for picture/sound quality, temperature, lighting and guest behavior

·       Follow instructions on safe use of all chemicals/cleaning materials

·       Answer questions from guests and resolve any concerns

·       Assist with other functions as instructed by the General Manager

·       Regular and consistent attendance.
